Hello!

My name is Leroy Seat, and I conduct my public activities under the name 4-L Ministries.

After serving as a Baptist missionary in Japan for thirty-eight years, my wife June and I returned to the United States in 2004 and now live in Liberty, Missouri.

The 4-L name comes from Life, Love, Light, and Liberty, the four words I emphasized when I was Chancellor of Seinan Gakuin (from April 1996 through March 2004. 

As a part of my 4-L ministries, in July 2009 I began a blog with the name "The View from This Seat." From early 2010 until early 2023, I posted new articles every five days, but since July 2023 I have generally posted only three new articles each month. The link is TheViewFromThisSeat.blogspot.com.

Since I am now 85 years old, my 4-L Ministries are now mostly limited to my writing activities, which is mostly of blog articles and occasionally book reviews.
